Tonight’s dinner, brought to you by Trader Joe’s. A.K.A. my new favorite place. So cheap (this meal less than $3) and so good. Tamales, vegetarian refried beans and Chimihuri rice (my new personal favorite). Oh, and yes, I am still eating in bed. Chairs are on our to-do list this weekend.

Ok, I promised, more pics of the studio! I have to pinch myself every time I walk into it and see that grand wall of childrens books. The space is wonderful. Light, airy, full of cool people. I can’t wait to get that nice clean studio dirty!

This is the view (looking South) from my studio. More inside pics to come. Promise ;)

This was pretty much my day. Well, that and the three hours on the train.

When my parents were here, we would up wandering through the Union Square Greenmarket. Look at that color, would ya?! I foresee exciting things this fall.

I always New York had a lot to offer (especially for us arteests), but I was unprepared for just how GRAND of a scale it would offer everything up at. The ice cream, the shopping, the parks, everything just seems to be bigger here. Case in point: the trimmings shops in NY’s fashion district.

Dylan’s Candy Bar. Now, I can’t speak to the candy as I didn’t actually buy any. However, if you are a fan of the gummy variety, this is your place (they have tons). What I took away from this stop were photos of the completely enchanting, Willy Wonka-esque decor. This candy store was definitely well loved and well used (note: the smudge of chocolate ice cream on the adorable gumball filled table in the cafe). Did I lick the wallpaper to see if it indeed tasted like snozberry? I cannot say. Would you?
